List of Christmas Markets in Toronto
Distillery Winter Village
Well, that’s its new name (for the past few years now), but it’s simply the Distillery District Christmas Market. I love the atmosphere, with the big tree in the middle. It’s one of my favorite neighborhoods in Toronto, and I think you could do just about any event there that I’d like. But I have to say that the little stone streets add a lot of charm to this Christmas market. You’ve got merchants, places to take photos, sometimes brands giving away gifts. I’d recommend going during the week when admission is free. I find $16 per person a bit steep.
- 2026 dates: From November 12, 2026 to January 4, 2027.
- Please note that on certain evenings, admission to the market is not free.
Evergreen Brick Works
For this next Christmas market in Toronto, we’re heading to another place I really like in Toronto: Evergreen Brick Work. I recommended it to you to see the fall colours in Toronto, I recommended it to you for its Saturday morning farmers’ market. Well, I have a new reason to add: their Christmas market. There are many activities, from lantern-making workshops to pasta-making. I really think their offer is pretty good. There are even shows. Take a good look at their calendar and make the most of it.
- 2026 dates: Every Sunday, from November 29 to December 20, 2026
- Pay as you can: they recommend paying $5, but it’s not mandatory.
HarbourFrost
This year, the Christmas market at Harbourfront has a new name! You’ll still find a massive Christmas tree in the center, vendors spread throughout, and activities for both adults and kids. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the festive lights, catch a beautiful view of the CN Tower, and take in the lakefront setting. As always, you can also skate on the free outdoor rink.
- 2026 dates: Friday, November 20 to Sunday, December 20, 2026
- Admission: Free
- More Info: Check their official website for details.

Winter Market à St Lawrence Market
One of the latest additions to Toronto’s list of Christmas markets this year. Living in the neighborhood, I got to see a little behind the scenes, and I can tell you that the locals deserve a round of applause for this market. They’ve made plenty of requests to city hall to make their voices heard. Usually, this street is only closed for a few weeks in the summer. But it’s really great when it’s closed. People sit down, have a coffee, chat. Whether it’s hot or cold. It’s a nice spot for the neighborhood community. Anyway, they asked us to keep it closed longer and to put up a Christmas market. And here it is!
Now that you know all about the history of this market, let’s talk about what you’ll find there. A great setting, hot drinks to warm you up as you discover local artisans. Activities such as photo sessions with Santa Claus and small concerts. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the magic of the season.
- 2026 dates: Thursday to Sunday, from December 5 to 23, 2026
- Free admission.
- Make sure to double check the schedule before heading there, as it’s not the same everyday.
